Music is communication,not necessary communication of information,but of emotion,feeling,mood.And if any piece of music ,any type of music makes you feel something ----- it works.

Holland:   Not unless you pay me for it ,Mrs. Jacobs.Good night!

Principal Jacobs:Mr Holland! You haven't been excused yet.

Holland:Am I being made to stay after school?

Principal Jacobs:I  was  wrong  about  being  this  a  job---teaching  is  more  .These  young people ,your students,    are  at  a  crossroad  in  their  lives .Confused, hormones  going  berserk, faced  with  monumental   decisions  that  will   change their lives forever ,And  we try to pump them fuul of  data ,that have little to do with real life.

      But it all adds up....  to  a  human  being  with  wants  ,needs , ideals, and hopes. You  have  two  jobs.Pump

 them  full  of  data  ,music  data  in  your  case  , and  give  them a compass.Point  them in  the right  direction

 so  it  doesn't  all  go  to  waste. You  mannage  to  do  that  and  they  will  remember you  for  the rest of their

 lives.I  don't  know  how  you  are  doing  with  the  data  input , but  as  a  compass  , you  are  useless.

I  believe : As  a teacher  not only  give students  knowlege, but also  should  teach students how to learn and    how  to  behave  well ,which  is  the most  important  content  of  modern education !
